Nanette “Nan” Wilson, APRN, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse. She grew up in the Central Florida area and graduated from Edgewater High School. She obtained an Associate’s of Science Degree from Valencia School of Nursing. Nan then completed her undergraduate work at the University of Phoenix, graduating top of her class with Suma Cum Laude. She then completed a dual-master’s degree program at the University of South Alabama, with degrees in Clinical Nurse Specialist and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).  


Nan has been practicing medicine in the Florida area for over 38 years. She has extensive experience in multiple fields including Women’s Health, Vascular Medicine, Family Practice and Holistic & Functional Medicine. For over 20 years, she served the healthcare community at one of the premier hospitals in Orlando, Advent Health, where she focused on women’s health and intensive care. For 10 years, Nan dedicated her time to vascular health, and diseases surrounding arterial disease and chronic venous insufficiency. The remaining years were spent in family practice, treating hormones through bio-identical hormone therapies for both men and women. Nan is robust in knowledge surrounding holistic modalities and utilizing functional medicine with the utilization of diagnostic testing to find the root cause of patient ailments and create individualized treatment plans. 


Nan enjoys and specializes in caring for individuals beginning from mid-teenage years through active adulthood. She brings a unique perspective to the Whole Family Healthcare team with her vast experience through different specialties within the healthcare field. 


She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her two cats and husband. You can find her doing all types of outdoors activities that include traveling, biking, hiking, shooting sports and sunsets on the golf coasts. She is the 2002 Women’s IDPA Novice Class State Champ. She comes from a line of healers in her family, dating back to the early 1500’s, she was born to heal.
