  • The Holistic Nutrition Program has 4 Major Principles:

    Whole Food: Food should be in its purest form—free from artificial additives, sweeteners, colors, and preservatives. This form of food has the highest amount of active nutrients and the most flavor life can offer. Principles #1: Eat whole, unprocessed foods


    Healthy Fats: Essential Fatty Acids are required to come from the diet because our body is not able to create them. We recommend you find healthy fats rich in micronutrients from whole plant sources, such as nuts, seeds and avocados. We also recommend using the more processed oils sparingly. Principle #2: Eat healthy fats


    Plant-Rich: We encourage a diet abundant in raw and cooked vegetables, fruits, legumes, beans, nuts, seeds and whole grains. Principle #3: Eat a colorful variety of plants


    Nutrient Dense: When choosing whole foods, choose those foods that are the richest in macronutrients and micronutrients for their caloric value. Macronutrients include carbohydrates, protein, fat, and fiber. Micronutrients include vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytochemicals. Principle #4: Eat nutrient dense foods
