Dr. Sandra Nelson is a native Floridian. Born in Miami and raised in Winter Haven, she attended the University of Central Florida, where she majored in Microbiology and Molecular biology and minored in Anthropology. Her love for nutrition and holistic healthcare led her path to chiropractic.
Dr. Nelson attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class. In practice, she’s motivated by the personal and professional knowledge that chiropractic has altered so many lives for the better. Her favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping, educating and inspiring patients to lead healthier lifestyles and allowing the body to heal itself. She is grateful to be able to help patients by restoring their bodies’ optimal functionality and changing their lives for the better.
She is board certified and licensed in Florida; a member of Florida Chiropractic Association and Extraordinary Women Chiropractors. Dr. Nelson is practiced in Palmer package, Pettibon, Graston Soft Tissue Technique, Pediatric Chiropractic Care, Activator Method, and Prenatal and Postnatal Care.
On her spare time, Dr. Nelson likes to spend time with her husband and two dogs, Daisy and Lally. She also enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, kayaking and is an avid fan of the UCF Knights and Orlando City Soccer.
