Prior to her start in Oriental Medicine, Catherine received a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. She was born in Colombia, South America and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Treatment and care are available in either language.

Catherine has a very personal story with Oriental Medicine, which began her transition from Engineering to Medicine. It started when she suffered a subdural hematoma in 2008, during a routine epidural for child delivery. The damage suffered, left her with daily headaches, dizziness and ringing in the ears. After working with many neurologists and even the Mayo clinic, she was not able to find relief using modern medicine. She decided to explore alternative therapies like acupuncture, herbs and Chinese Medicine. After several acupuncture treatments, the symptoms improved and disappeared. This created a desire to understand more about Oriental Medicine, which had taken care of her medical issue. Even though she was a busy mother of three boys (at the time), she decided to follow her calling and started her Oriental Medicine studies. Catherine’s desire now is to share the healing she received with others and provide patients with another option of treatment.

Catherine enjoys spending family time with her husband and her four boys.
Catherine joined Whole Family HealthCare in January 2019 and she is very excited to be part of the team.
