Infertility Support

The definition of infertility is the diminished ability or the inability to conceive or have an offspring.  Specific terms:  failure to conceive after a year of regular intercourse without contraception. 

Infertility has many causes.  We have two ways to approach it-conventional and holistic.  In our clinic, we will discuss the best ways to address infertility with a holistic approach.  The holistic approach may include hormone testing, dietary modification, acupuncture, herbal support and nutrient supplementation.  At Whole Family Healthcare, we have individualized infertility support programs available and we will guide you step by step through each step of the way.

As females, we know we are not cookie cutter.  As a part of your individual program, you will be given supplements to enhance the results of the acupuncture and other treatments.  We believe in treating the whole body and not just the symptoms.  There are many reasons why women cannot conceive: physical, emotional, injury, such as a car accident, or mental disturbance meaning so stressed by the process that they feel disconnected to their body.  All these areas will be addressed through constant care, re-evaluation and treatment.  

Along with treating yourself, we will look at your spouse.  For as we know, conceiving a child is not a one person job.  Support on both sides needs to be there to maintain a healthy marital relationship, especially when trying to conceive a child.  When we work as a team, with your spouse and with your healthcare providers, building a relationship of trust, you will find this process to be much more enjoyable than a cold, clinical experience, similar to a family shared experience.
