Dr D’Antonio practices as a licensed Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida. He received his:
- Bachelor of Science with Honors in the field of Food Science and Human Nutrition with a specialization in Dietetics from the University of Florida
- Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Florida College of Integrative Medicine
- Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, the world renowned leader in Natural Health Sciences
He founded Whole Family Healthcare in 2009 in order to provide Natural and
Integrative Medicine for the Whole Family.
Integrative Medicine is a distinct practice of medicine that offers patients both conventional testing and treatment AND cutting edge diagnostics with safe and effective natural treatment options. During the initial visit he will identify your health goals, go over your medical history, and perform a computerized health screening. At the end of the initial visit he will recommend further testing to identify the cause of your health complaints or provide treatment options. The treatment options are designed to bring balance to the individual and promote wellness. Treatment options may include one or more of the following:
Acupuncture, nutritional counseling, detoxification, or supplementation with vitamins, minerals, herbs, and homeopathics. Our office encourages the communication of your treatment with your with your primary care doctor, pediatrician, or other medical specialists such as gynecologists or oncologists. Routine medical exams and tests such as blood work, x-ray, CT’s, MR’s, Pap smears, Mammograms etc. are often still necessary to monitor your progress. Dr D’Antonio maintains his Naturopathic Physician’s license in Washington state and stays active in legislative efforts in hopes of getting qualified ND’s licensed in Florida again. He lectures regularly to medical professionals and is a faculty member at both Everglades University and Florida College of Integrative Medicine.
